The library aims to provide efficient, effective information service to the faculty, students, and staff to help realize the university's goal of best-quality education and research. It collects, organizes, and offers information and data to support education and research activities, thus making contributions as the major information source for the university.

How to use the library

1) General Reading Room
It is a place where you can read books, periodicals, or any other library material;
you can carry any belongings into this room.

¡Ø Opening Hours for Material rooms: Mon¡­Sun, from 09:00 to 18:00

2) Days when the library is closed
¨ç National holidays
¨è School foundation day
¨é Graduation day
¨ê Some particular days when it is necessary for the library to be closed

3) Issuance of the library admission ticket
¨ç The university's faculty and staff
¨è The university's students
¨é Other people authorized to use the library

4) Reissuance of the library admission ticket
¨ç When those issued the library admission ticket lost or damaged it

< Student Dormitory >

The student dormitory is composed of two ultra-modern buildings. They were built to provide not only the student's living space but also to foster students' discipline, friendship, and cooperation.

< Broadcasting Station >

The aims of the Kaya University Broadcasting Station(KUBS) is to foster free press and sound collegiate culture, build academic atmosphere, announce on- and off-campus news and events promptly, and provide recreation to the students by playing music and hosting cultural events.

Main activities of the KUBS include:
1) Regular broadcasting programs
2) Special cultural events
3) Broadcasting events
4) Support to other campus events

< The Student Newspaper >

The Kaya University student newspaper was first started with honesty, industry, and creativity (the university's foundation goals) as its mottos.

The student newspaper pursues the harmonious combination of journalism and collegiate academism and sets the promotion of sound collegiate culture as its main goal. The following are its major activities:

1. Providing support for the students' acquisition of general and special knowledge.
2. Helping to produce sound public opinion on the campus by absorbing a wide variety of the students' points of view
3. Collection and distribution of a wide array of information on the campus
4. Taking charge of off-campus publicity of the university

Student reporters are responsible for the whole process of planning, collecting, editing, and producing news material. The student paper aims at accurate news report and development of sound collegiate culture and attempts to fulfil its duty and mission as a college newspaper.

< The Electronic Computing Center >

The Electronic Computing Center aims to support the computerization of the faculty's research, students' computer work and information processing education, and college administrative work.

The electronic computing center successfully finished the school's admission work by using ORACLE RDBMS on the Sun ES250 Model Solaris system and is developing a new-generation administration system operated in the client/server environment with the goal of completing it by March, 2000.

Main activities of the Electronic Computing Center include
1) Information processing for the faculty's research
2) Support for the students' information processing education
3) Support for research into information science
4) Development of academic data processing system and computerization system of the school's administrative work
5) Support for the local community and industry/college cooperation research projects
6) Planning and coordination of the school's on- and off-campus information processing work and maintenance of equipment

< Social Education School >

Social education school was established to provide Kaya University Students with the extracurricular courses. It also attempt to provide educational service to the people of the local community by giving to them equal opportunities of education and a site of adult learning.
